The Collette Whitney Memorial Scholarship is $1,000 award and is presented on behalf of the Kelley Family Charitable Foundation. When Collette found out that her cancer diagnosis had spread, she had one wish; to act with kindness for the rest of her days as she had her entire life. Collette spent her career in the medical field providing top quality care to her patients. Collette lived her life with a true spirit of kindness guiding her way. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who passed her gentle love and kindness to all that she met. Collette also had an affinity for taking photos. A hobby that she truly loved. This scholarship should go to a student who exemplifies the spirit of kindness. Students should apply if they feel that they demonstrate kindness in all aspects of their lives, as Collette did throughout all of her days.
